It takes great courage to go to counseling because it requires us to be vulnerable. The paradox is that it is precisely through our vulnerability that we arrive at greater joy and belonging to ourselves and to others.

Welcome! Let me start off by saying that counseling can really make a difference in the quality of our lives. With my clinical experience and background, I help people:

  • Lower their anxiety

  • Find relief from depression

  • Improve their relationships

  • Process grief

  • Regain emotional balance

  • Practice life-giving communication skills

  • Move past codependency

  • Increase assertiveness

  • Set healthy boundaries

  • Learn self-compassion

  • Improve self-esteem

  • Enjoy deeper purpose and meaning by discovering their True Selves--who they really are meant to be.

I create a nonjudgmental, safe environment within the sacred space of my office.  To learn more about my background and clinical approach, see About Doug.
